7/9 in predicting NFL coaches hired. Not bad if you ask me. After nine hires and Bieniemy still not getting a gig, I’m starting to wonder if he’s just perfectly happy being an offensive coordinator. The MLB has stopped testing baseball players for steroids. Now in the midst of a lockout, will it ever return? I feel there’s a lot of ex players that deserve to be Hall of Famers, but have been kept out due to alleged or proven steroid use. Will be interesting to see where this goes. 48 hours away from the NBA trade deadline. Any big names getting shipped? Wizards might as well get what they can for Beal. They’re aren’t winning anything with him thats for sure. US Men’s Olympic Hockey team draws China, Canada, and Germany in that order in the preliminary round.
Last night’s 3rd episode of season 3 of Snowpiercer was fun. Layton takes back the big train from Wilford with only one casualty coming at the hands of LJ, who wanted to give the appearance that she was on the side of the good guys the whole time. Andre puts the option to vier off course toward the big plateau of Africa so seek out New Eden.The move brings a hope of democracy to the city on rails. However this new hope was in fact based on a lie to buy votes. Pike is becoming one of the best characters on the show, which probably means they’ll kill him off soon.
Caught up with Raised by Wolves yesterday. Good Lord man, if anybody can tell me what exactly this show wants to be, I’m all ears. It’s as if in early production stages they said, “How bout a show that’s The 100 meets Vikings, meets The Expanse, but we dumb it down”? The show started off ok and had some interesting potential but man they have really shit the bed in season 2. The first season went 10 episodes, but as of now this current season is slated for six. HBO has not confirmed plans for a season three yet so who knows. I’ll stick with it due to being in my genre but man, improve already.
Book of Boba returns tomorrow. I predict we will learn soon that Grogu has indeed chosen to stay with the Mandalorian, but it won’t likely be until Mando proper returns. Vanth like survives his shot from Cad Bane and joins the team to prepare for an all out war that we won’t get due to the likelihood of the season ending on a cliffhanger. The Walking Dead returns on Sunday in what is part 2/3 of its final season. Snowfall returns on the 23rd in what I believe is its final season. It’s a shame because it’s a very underrated show. Still about a month to wait for Outlander.
