Good Night, Good Fight: Oregon vs California

College Football Breakdown by John Turner

(13) Oregon 17 – California 7

Cal (4-1) struck first then forced a turnover on Oregon in the first quarter. First half Ducks (3-1) had shades of Week One Ducks. This was a pretty exciting yet low scoring game. The fourth quarter interception by Troy Dye turned out to be the beginning of the end for the Golden Bears as Oregon put one in a few plays later. Travis Dye (brother of Troy) led the Ducks in receiving. Not exactly a skyscraper at 5’7”, but hes quickly proving that something big things come in small packages.
