GOOD FIGHT, GOOD NIGHT: EAGLES @ BILLS

NFL Game Recap by John Turner

A nice crossing rout met by a touch pass from Allen to Cole Beasley would put the Bills up 7-3 after a low scoring start between the two teams. Wentz would hit one of his two tight ends in Goedert for a touchdown pass and take the lead at 11-7 adding a two point conversion. A brilliant slide while calling a timeout by Allen set up a field goal as time expired at the half however it would be wide right in true Buffalo fashion.

Rookie running back Miles Sanders would burn rubber on a 65 yard, one cut masterpiece of a run that clocked out at 20.9 MPH. They’d drink the extra point but lead 17-7. Buffalo would circle the wagons and answer with Singletary taking a short pass to the house from 28 out and draw within four at 17-13. Scott would punch one in for Philly from the goal line and stretch the lead to 11. A questionable call by Buffalo going for it on fourth and ten from the 29 of the Eagles turned it over on downs. On a brilliant third and 10 in the fourth Pederson dials up a quarterback keeper draw where he wiggled threw the defenders for a first. Howard would provide some clock consuming pounding and the Eagles would add the go ahead score and not look back at 31-13.
